When identifying your target audience for IP warm up, which type of email addresses should you avoid and why?

A. Avoid sending to subscribers who have opened or clicked in the last few days because they may not respond to an email message again so soon.
B. Avoid sending to subscribers who have recently opted-in because they do not have a proven history of engagement.
C. Avoid sending to subscribers who are also receiving transactional emails because they may unsubscribe because they are likely to feel over-messaged from your brand or company.

Answer: D

Your client has asked Why their campaign reports in Insight display the value of Not Specified for the Marketing Strategy and Marketing Program category.
How should you reply?

A. There is a substantial work required to set Marketing categories in your Responsys account, so we will request Customer Care to add this to your account configuration.
B. Because we didn't set up Marketing categories prior to going live, we can now ask Customer Care to add any categories you like to your reports.
C. Let's decide on values to use for Marketing Strategy and Marketing Program categories and enter them into Account Administration. Now before each campaign launch, in the Settings section of the Campaign Workbook, select the desired category setting to use for your reports in the future.
D. We need to choose from the Responsys list of standard Marketing category fields, and none of them really apply to your industry, so we aren't using this functionality.

A subscriber opens an email with Conversion Tracking on, clicks a link, but does not purchase. The next day, this subscriber receives a second email with Conversion Tracking on with a follow-up offer, clicks a link, but still does not purchase. The subscriber bookmarks the URL, and on the third day, returns to the webpage and finally makes a purchase.
Assuming the conversion cookie is not deleted, how will the transaction be tracked or attributed?

A. Because the final purchase was made by a visit directly to the webpage, the purchase is considered a web transaction and no email attribution is registered.
B. The purchase transaction is attributed to the first campaign that the recipient opened and clicked.
C. The purchase transaction is attributed to the second campaign (most recent) that the recipient opened and clicked.
D. The purchase transaction is attributed to both email campaigns.

The Oracle promo nights that Oakland deserves

The Warriors launched their final Oracle Arena promotional calendar. It's not horrible, but here are three suggestions to take it to the next level.

The Golden State Warriors are entering their final year playing at Oracle Arena in Oakland, the beloved East Bay concrete canyon.

Long before the Warriors reached their current status as world beater, Oracle was the host of decades of mediocre memories that will last a lifetime. That said, decades of loss forge a nostalgia that will be hard to replace at the Chase Center. Therefore, it is only appropriate for the Warriors, the best NBA team, to honor their loyal East Bay fans with the best trio of promotional nights in the history of mankind.

Something I did not cover before: winning is a big responsibility. Instead of being more creative, teams, like the Warriors, often use win like a crutch. Teams must be more creative and less sterile. Nothing to lose!

"We're going to do an Iguodala bobblehead night."

"How about a Bobley Boogie night?"

Bla bla bla.

Boogie is still learning the difference between Oakland and San Francisco. Think of the fans!

Not all is bad news. The Warriors marketing team guessed some things. On February 12, 2019 is Baron Davis Night (bobbleheads!) And on February 21, 2019 is We Believe Night. There are also Throwback Thursday nights scattered throughout the season to celebrate entire decades: the 70s, 80s, 90s and 2000s will be honored.

But I'm looking for more and it's not too late. The Warriors have the opportunity to think outside the box to offer the East Bay faithful a memorable year on their own turf.

1) Night of Monta Ellis: the absence of Ellis catalyzed a dynasty. Without Ellis leaving, there is no Stephen Curry (as we know him), no selected player from Harrison Barnes and, in turn, no Kevin Durant. The least the warriors could do was celebrate the guy. Honor Ellis before the match and distribute a wobbly head. At half-time, blindfolded, place them anywhere on the field and tell them to inflate. Monta Ellis deserves it and the fans deserve to remember the past.

2) Yay Area Night: imagine the Oracle stereos that overcome the traffic jams of the E-40, the ghost videos to roll after three years and fans like the end of the world. Once the Dubs have joined the Chase Center, technologists Carter, Jacob and Tim will be too exhausted by their work in failed startups to enjoy an evening like this. Menu: $ 3 beers and $ 1.50 for hot dogs wrapped in bacon. Here. There is no other food and drink available.

3) Nellie's Night: One night for Don Nelson. The man who organizes the poker nights with Owen Wilson, Willie Nelson and Woody Harrelson (three names that sound the same way) also trained the Warriors for two periods totaling eleven seasons. If you look good, your signature "Nellie Ball" was the first shot of the current brand of hoops that the team plays today. He is also an old hilarious smoker and marijuana. Nellie jumps on him with a Hawaiian shirt, holding a deck of cards with a big seal hanging on his mouth would be for thousands on eBay.
